The North Hollywood Police Department has alerted us to an increase in car burglaries along Magnolia in Valley Village between Laurel Canyon and Whitsett.  The criminal activity is also extending a block north and south of Magnolia along this corridor.  Thieves are breaking car windows to steal anything of value that is in sight.  LAPD is again warning everyone to keep valuables in your vehicle out of sight.  Even if you are only gone from your car for a minute, you are vulnerable.  

If you are a victim of this type crime, it is very important to report it.  The statistics help guide the police effort.
