The LAPD is having another Community Police Academy beginning on February 11, 2016 and runs for eight consecutive Thursday’s with a graduation on April 7th.
The Community Academy is held at the LAPD, Davis Academy in Granada Hills in the Bomb Squad Building from 6pm- 9pm. It provides a fantastic learning experience for the people of Los Angeles. Many guest speakers from various specialized units provide instruction to the class. The classes will also get to meet various Commanding Officers from multiple LAPD Divisions. This is a popular event so inquire quickly! The North Hollywood Division can provide ten invitations.
