The family of LAFD and LAPD officers and staff will join forces on Saturday, March 12th (rain or shine) to shave heads and fight childhood cancer. The 14th annual event, which has raised close to $1 million for childhood cancer research, will be held at North Hollywood Fire Station 89 on Saturday, March 12th (rain or shine) from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm.
The public is invited to sign up as a “shavee”, or sponsor someone who is shaving their head and creating solidarity with the countless number of children who lose their hair from enduring cancer treatment.
