Neighborhood Council Valley Village and the office of Councilman Paul Krekorian invite you to join us for a Town Hall Forum on Homelessness, June 27 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5000 Colfax Avenue, Valley Village. This is one of the most challenging issues in the history of our city and one on which your Board has been working for several years. View Our Letter on Homelessness. We hope that this open dialogue will help us all understand the gravity of the issue and identify ways that we can help work toward positive solutions. The meeting will feature experts from the city and from community based organizations who work daily on the issue of homelessness, and there will be a question and answer period so that our stakeholders can actively participate in the conversation.

The meeting is 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Parking is available on site or on adjacent streets. A light dinner will be provided.

Please help us support a group that is trying to make a difference – Shoes For The Homeless Inc. This organization collects gently used or new shoes for men, women and children and then distributes them locally. There is a need for shoes and and representatives will be onsite to accept your donations. This is one small way we can all help those who are in need. For more information about the Town Hall Forum please call NCVV at 818-759-8204.

The Town Hall Forum will be held in place of the regular monthly meeting of NCVV.
