Colfax Charter Elementary School is in the initial construction phase of its classroom addition project, which will add new administrative and kindergarten buildings. The plan calls for the removal of 40 trees and shrubs within planters along Colfax Avenue. LAUSD is hosting a community meeting to discuss the project and hear residents’ concerns.
