The holiday tradition continues! On December 8, 4-8pm, join your NCVV Board and your neighbors for Light Up Valley Village – our favorite local celebration of the holiday season.

This year’s celebration will feature decorated trolleys riding through the community enjoying lights and holiday decorations. There are 2 trolleys that will move between our street party on Magnolia at Whitsett, and other party “hubs” including Valley Village Pet Supply on Laurel Canyon, Marie et Cie on Riverside at Colfax, and Carter Sexton Artist’s Supplies on Laurel Canyon.

11th Annual Neighborhood Council Valley Village FOOD Drive

The Holiday season kicks off NCVV’s annual food drive benefitting the North Hollywood Food Pantry.  Hundreds of Angelinos go hungry each year, including far too many in the San Fernando Valley.  The problem is especially severe now given the increasing homeless population and the victims of the Woolsey fire.  You can help those in need by donating nonperishable goods, including unexpired canned goods and boxed food, until the end of December.  Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Carter Sexton Fine Artist Materials – 5308 Laurel Canyon Blvd.
  • Marie et Cie – 11704 Riverside Drive
  • Office, Faith Presbyterian Church, 5000 Colfax AvenueChurch
