The Board of Neighborhood Council Valley Village is pleased to welcome District 3 LAUSD Board member Scott Schmerelson who will speak at our February 24 meeting. Mr. Schmerelson, who was recently re-elected to his seat, will provide updates for our community on LAUSD’s back to school plan and on resources currently available for students, families and staff during the COVID crisis. There will be a question and answer session after Mr. Schmerelson’s remarks.
Also at this month’s NCVV Board meeting Clare Eberle and Babak Dorji from Los Angeles Department of Transportation will update our community on the Chandler Bike Path Gap Closure project, which will complete the connection from the existing Orange Line bike lanes to North Hollywood Metro Red Line Station.
