NCVV Names Student Board Member

On July 25th the Board of Neighborhood Council Valley Village voted unanimously to elect Eileen Garcia as a Student Representative. In fall of 2017 she and other students led the effort to stop relocation of a Charter School at the North Hollywood campus, a proposed move that would have caused significant crowding at one of the city’s largest schools.

Magnolia Blvd Repaving Set for April 14, 15

After years of requests from business, residents and the NCVV Board, Magnolia Boulevard from Laurel Canyon to Whitsett Avenue will finally be resurfaced. The entire stretch will be completed this weekend, April 14 and 15. This will limit vehicle access to the Valley Village Post Office, so if you’re planning to send in your tax return before Sunday be sure to plan accordingly.

Increased RV Parking Concerns

NCVV’s Board of Directors has expressed concern to the City about recent increased parking of occupied Recreational Vehicles on streets in Valley Village and neighboring communities. The Board will review the Vehicle Dwelling Ordinance at the April 25 meeting.
