Valley Village Comes Out for Food & Toy Drive
Well over 1,000 toys and 7 vans full of food were collected and donated to the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry (NHIFP), and hundreds of toys were taken to non-profits helping kids have a great holiday this year. Thank you Valley Village for helping to make this holiday season better for so many people!

The Library is Fine Free!
LAPL no longer charges overdue fines and offers autorenewals if no one else is waiting for that item. You can request a book from the library and schedule pick up at the Studio City Branch.
Utility Boxes: It Takes a Village
On October 2, the Board of Neighborhood Council Valley Village began a 5 month project to paint utility boxes in Valley Village. Under the direction of our City Services Committee, and in partnership with the local non-profit Muralism and the office of Council Member Paul Krekorian, the first of 40 boxes were decorated using designs from Valley Village stakeholders.

NCVV’s Board of Directors has partnered with the League of Women Voters to help you understand the 12 propositions. Join us for a virtual Town Hall and take part in a nonpartisan discussion of these measures from the League of Women Voters.
NCVV Students Urge Census Reply
The Neighborhood Council Valley Village Student Committee has written a letter to stakeholders urging their timely completion of the census, by October 31, as only 60% of stakeholders have responded and responses drive funding to help the whole community.
