In the Spring of 2024, the Southeast Valley Community Plans Update (SEVCPU) team released the Draft General Plan Land Use (GPLU) Designations and StoryMap for the following three Community Plans: North Hollywood – Valley Village, Sherman Oaks – Studio City -Toluca Lake -Cahuenga Pass, and Van Nuys – North Sherman Oaks. Since the release of the Draft GPLU Designations, the SEVCPU team has met with Neighborhood Councils (NC), NC Land Use Committees, and residents associations. The team has also tabled at numerous community events, and spent time with stakeholders across the Southeast Valley to discuss the latest proposal and answer questions from the community.
In addition, we are excited to announce the SEVCPU team will be holding office hours this September! These office hours are an opportunity to meet one-on-one with planning staff in order to have more in-depth discussions of topics relevant to the SEVCPU and are a great opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions regarding the recently released Draft GLPU Designations. Appointment sign-ups are available on our website and we will offer both in-person and virtual options for the weeks of September 16th and 23rd.

To sign up for office hours with the SEVCPU team, please visit the Office Hour Appointment Form. First, you will be prompted to enter your contact information and select the planning topic that you would like to discuss. Next, please note if you would like translation services. Finally, you must select an office hours appointment slot from the available times listed. Please note that your selected time slot is not reserved until you have fully submitted your office hours appointment request.
Approximately 24 hours prior to your appointment, planning staff will email you to confirm the appointment. If the meeting is virtual, the team will send you a Google Meet link which you can use to access the meeting at your appointment time.
