A temporary subsidy to help prevent tenant evictions for non-payment of rent due to exorbitant rent increases is now available through December 31. The Emergency Renters Relief Program applies to City of Los Angeles renters who live in apartment buildings built between 10/02/78 and 12/31/2004, and who have received a rent increase greater than 8% and have eligible income.
