On Wednesday July 22, 2020 NCVV’s full Board approved a proposal from our City Services Committee to beautify Valley Village through the Utility Box Artwork Project. The Committee, led by Chair Suzanne Lewis, engineered a partnership with the office of Councilman Paul Krekorian and local non-profit Muralism to decorate utility boxes in Valley Village. This innovative organization uses local talent to design the patterns and then work with adults who have special needs to complete the art. Muralism has been working throughout the city of LA for years and will soon bring their special neighborhood magic to Valley Village.
