On June 25, 2017 your NCVV City Services Committee and NCVV Board of Directors sponsored a Disaster Awareness Course presented by LAFD Captain Stacy Gerlich and held in partnership with Temple Beth Hillel. Over 40 participants joined Board members Jeff Walker, Dorothy Apple and Richard Davies and received hands on training in emergency preparation, search & rescue skills and safety information that will help families respond during a man-made or natural disaster.
