On September 26 NCVV’s Board of Directors unanimously confirmed Jake Kovinsky as our second student Board member. Jake is a resident of Valley Village and a Junior at Notre Dame High School. He is very active in athletics including baseball, soccer, hockey and basketball, and has a strong interest in politics. Jake hopes that participating in Neighborhood Council will give him a broader perspective community and government. Jake was nominated by the NCVV Elections and Bylaws Committee and after his unanimous confirmation was immediately sworn in by NCVV’s Vice President Ginny Hatfield. He will serve on NCVV’s Board for two years along with recently elected student Board member Eileen Garcia.
