The city is finally moving forward to install parking restrictions for the full intersection of Laurel Canyon at Chandler Boulevard. Last summer area stakeholders helped collect the needed signatures to request overnight parking restrictions, which will move to alleviate the long term parking problems of RVs that have become a fixture at the intersection. When the signs go up, LADOT and LAPD will begin enforcing the new rules for all vehicles. “This is an important part of our work to maintain safety and quality of life for everyone that lives or works near this busy intersection” said Tony Braswell, President of NCVV. “We are very grateful to all of the neighbors – residents and employees of area businesses – who helped us coordinate this effort. NCVV’s Board will continue to work together with these stakeholders as we move toward enforcement of the new parking guidelines.”
