Valley Village artists joined over 100 neighbors for an exciting kickoff reception that marked the start of a three week show of local art in a variety of media. The event was held at Carter Sexton Art Supply and The Art Parlor, located at 5302-5308 Laurel Canyon Boulevard. Sponsored by Neighborhood Council Valley Village, artists mingled with guests while listening to live music and enjoying tasty refreshments. “This is a great way to showcase the excellent artists who are part of this community” said exhibiting artist and NCVV Board member Paulette Stokes. Art will be on display at Carter Sexton through August 10.
