A major portion of the May 2018 NCVV Board meeting was focused on the increased number of RVs that are parking at the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Chandler Boulevard. The Board of Directors has been working diligently with residential and business stakeholders in the area and will soon be requesting parking restrictions that will limit parking on all four sides of the intersection to 2 hours or less.
Until this proposal is complete and submitted to the City of Los Angeles, these guidelines are meant to help ensure that inappropriate behavior and unlawful parking are reported and enforced. For any vehicle parked outside of the legal area for RVs or after hours in restricted zones, call parking enforcement – 818-374-4823. For any vehicle parked more than 72 hours in one location, call 800-222-6366. For suspicious activity, loitering, loud or unruly behavior that is non-threatening to safety and wellbeing, call the North Hollywood Police Desk 818-754-8300. And of course, if there is any situation in which you fear for your safety or wellbeing or if you suspect criminal or illegal activity, call 911.
For the unfortunate situation where trash or other items are illegally left on the street or on sidewalks, call 211 to report it and a clean-up will be scheduled.
