Over 300 neighbors, elected leaders and volunteers joined NCVV Board members to celebrate National Night Out in Valley Village park. The annual gathering is community building event that promotes stronger partnerships between public safety officials and those who live in the area. “One of the best tools in fighting crime and promoting safety is getting to know your neighbors” said Board Vice President Ginny Hatfield. “This event helps us bring neighbors together and build relationships that keep our community safe.”
This year marked the first time since 2019 that the event has been held. NCVV Board members served sandwiches and cookies while the great music of Jimmy Dale kept everyone entertained. Guest speakers included United States Congressman Tony Cardenes, who also brought official greetings from US Senator Alex Padilla, LAPD Senior Lead Officer Rob Benevides, and State Assembly Member Adrin Nazarian.
