Members of NCVV’s Board of Directors and Student Committee joined area residents and other stakeholders to meet with some of LAPD’s finest on Saturday March 15. Senior Lead Officer Rob Benevides and other officers spent the morning discussing public safety and policing over coffee and baked goods. The event was hosted by the Valley Village Farmers Market which is held each Saturday at 5000 Colfax Avenue. Paola Posada from the Los Angeles City Clerk’s Office was at the event to register candidates for the 2025 NCVV Board election. Thanks to their outreach two additional candidates registered for this year’s election.
