The Ventura Blvd. Mainline Improvement Project will install nearly 2 miles of 6-inch and 8-inch mainline pipe along a section of Ventura Blvd. (from Coldwater Canyon Ave. to Sunnyslope Ave); Fulton Ave., Dixie Canyon Ave., Greenbush Ave., and Sunnyslope Ave. (from Moorpark St. to Ventura Blvd); and Moorpark St. (from Sunnyslope Ave. to Dixie Canyon Ave.)
Work is scheduled to take place M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some Saturday work may be necessary. LADWP is applying for a Peak Hour Exemption that would expand the work hours in an effort to reduce the project duration from 13 months to 10.5 months.
Work will proceed in segments: Ventura Blvd. (Coldwater Canyon to Sunnyslope) will last approximately 4-5 months, beginning around May 2, 2022. Work will also take place on Moorpark St. (Sunnyslope to Dixie Canyon); Fulton Ave. (Ventura. to Moorpark); Sunnyslope (Ventura to Moorpark); Greenbush (Ventura to Moorpark); and Dixie Canyon (Ventura to Moorpark).
